Subsaharan Africa Call Agriculture

The initiative brings together researchers in the area of agriculture from sub-Saharan Africa and Germany to exchange ideas and network. In a first step, the call invites researchers to submit posters and, in a later step, to submit proposals to the DFG for initiating international collaborations. Scientists from sub-Saharan Africa and Germany are thus given a platform to discuss all (interdisciplinary) research questions in the field of agricultural sciences with special emphasis on the sustainable intensification of agriculture and to find possible interfaces for bi- or multilateral research collaborations. This integrated roadmap will be enriched by a status workshop inviting successful project teams to Bonn/Germany in April 2024.
