SARIMA will be presenting the introductory level IP Management Basics Course online from 14 to 15 May 2024.

This introductory-level course will provide an overview of the management of intellectual property (IP), with an emphasis on issues and practices relevant to public research institutions. The course will cover the invention disclosure process, different types of IP rights and how to obtain protection for them, inventor/researcher interaction, the Intellectual Property Rights from Publicly Financed R&D Acts, IP ownership issues and the treatment of IP in and arising from R&D contracts and collaborations.
