The NRF/NWO (the Netherlands) WEF Nexus Call is currently open. This year’s call focuses on the WEF Nexus as it relates to Health. It’s our 3rd call with the Dutch and this year’s call is open to researchers from SGCI countries. The Dutch have a modest budget which their researchers can use to support the participation of the researchers from SGCI countries.
This call includes 3 phases: a call for research initiatives (closed), a call for preliminary proposals (currently open, closing in March) and a call for full proposals (closing in September). Once we’ve received all the research initiatives we advertise them widely for different researchers to join the different projects as they see fit. We then organise a matchmaking workshop to finalise the research consortia that will be submitting proposals. The matchmaking workshop is planned for 3 February 2022 and we would like to ensure participation of as many SGCI countries as possible.
